dose image software also keep windows activated when reinstalling

i have question? if i install windows 7 and activate it using oem windows 7 style key that linked to your motherboard.
then use disk image software like aomie or acronis true image to burn on dvd or usb. dose it keep the windows 7 activated like oem pc company do when they tattoo there motherboard for recovery cd making.

so when i get hp machine and i make recovery cd for that machine using there software i never seem to need to activate it or type in the code cause it already done once your hook to the net or not.

Welcome to the forum. A disk image is an exact copy of the drive so as long as it's restored to the same pc it won't need activation as it's recorded on the disk

Backing up the token files might help you avoid activation but it has to be used on the same computer. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...-windows-activ

Don't worry about the command to rebuild them or running the slmrg.vbs script unless you need to rebuild them. Right now all you need to do is backup the files. You do however have to stop the service listed in the tutorial and don't forget to start it backup.
