This thread has a utility written by SIW2 which will do this for you => Update your Win 7 installation media.. I hope this helps! |

How to get older drivers to work in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums Do you have a Win 7 license? If you don't, you won't find any for sale Even if you have a Win 7 license, to install Win 7 on new computers is quite difficult. My suggestion is to find a Win 7 used computer. If it has 64 bits, try to install the Olympus DP25 software. If Olympus DP25 software doesn't doesn't you can install Win 7 32 using same license. If you need a M$ link to download Win 7, let me know. |

There are 64 bit drivers for this microscope from Olympus
Software Downloads | Olympus IMS You could try loading these drivers on your 64 bit Windows 10 - It may work without all the extra work |

As I wrote before, to install Win 7 on new computers is quite difficult. You have to add the USB and SATA (MVMe?) drivers to the installation disk. SIW2 did the app and is the one to help you.

7UPv37 contains the drivers needed for install already.
Should be enough to install on AMD Ryzen 5 1600. You can get any other machine specific drivers after installation. Integrating updates using Simplix is optional - it takes a while, but saves having to integrate them after installation. Update your Win 7 installation media. |

W7 64bit:Ok to install 32bit programs outside the 32bit programfolder? OS: Win 7 64bit. Is it generally not a problem to choose to install a piece of 32bit software outside the win 7 default program folder for 32bit software? Or is 32bit software only supposed to be running flawlessly, if installed in that default 32bit folder? Thanks. |
