Win 7 can be installed as Legacy-MBR or UEFI-GPT
To install Win 7 as Legacy-MBR you MUST boot the Win 7 installation disk as Legacy.
To install Win 7 as UEFI-GPT you MUST boot the Win 7 installation disk as UEFI.

You can apply win7 image to partition on gpt disk. Then create boot files on the esp partition using bcdboot.

Borrow this boot media, extract it to usb stick.

    183x64.iso

Boot it - create gpt partitions and apply the win7 image and boot files using the tools included.

Then you should be able to boot to the internal disk in efi mode.
