    Win 7 Iso download

    I have w7SP1 isos from 2013, but was given this link to MS iso downloads (not sure if they're different from my 2013's).

    At any rate, I have several (retail) copies of x64 Win 7 in Ult, Pro and HP. I started with and completed the Ultimate version DL, but kept getting errors when I tried to DL the other versions.

    Is the "newer" win 7 different from my 2013?

    If so, do I need to DL all 3 flavors to use SIW2's update method and end up with all 3 flavors?

    I just finished building a few new systems and would like to get the install discs updated for current and future use on my various machines.

    Thanks!

    The latest official MS isos were in 2011. So you probably already have it. ( ignoring the strange 2018 isos - nobody seems to know what they were for)

    You only need one. They all contain all editions.

    The same iso file can have different names:

    en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677332.iso = X17-59463.iso

    SHA1 Hash value: 65fce0f445d9bf7e78e43f17e441e08c63722657

    By deleting/toggling off the sources\ei.cfg file, all editions become available

    If you want to use Update your Win 7 installation media. any official MS iso is fine.It can update any of the editions - or all. Irrespective of what the iso file is called.

    If you are collector and want to have the various different iso files for posterity, you can convert them easily.

    Thanks, SIW2. I have all isos from 2013 (x64 & x86 pro, ult & HP), so it shouldn't be an issue then. I'm about to get up to speed on your update process and do the deed. Thanks for your contributions to the process.

    Any one of those will do. They all contain all editions.
