Corrupt win 7 installation - Cannot Boot at all even after fixing BCD

Hi,

My dad has given me his computer since it wasn't able to boot at all. (Win 7 ult x64)
Apparently it looks like the SSD was corrupted, i've managed to back up everything to an image and after restoring it to a new SSD and trying to rebuild the BCD i still wasn't able to boot into it.

Currently I have Hiren's Boot CD on a USB.
I've tried - /rebuildbcd, /fixmbr, /fixboot. All of it. Nothing. I just get a blinking cursor while trying to boot.
It is an MBR installation.

How can I restore and repair the installation? Also startup repair didn't help at all. also tried sfc /scannow.
Is my only option here is to format and install everything again?
Thank you.

I'd just try to backup all data files, and then do a CLEAN RE-Install of the OS.
There are several places where you can download Clean ISO's of Windows versions.
Good Luck!

Iím not sure itís corrupted. How can I verify? However I do think itís an MBR installation because thatís why DISK utility on Mac says.
However it is my dad computer and he has a lot of legacy programs that Iím not sure were able to re install
Is there any way to get this system working?

How do you know the SSD was was corrupted?
If the original SSD was corrupted the corrupted files are also on the new SSD.

Can you boot from Hiren's Boot drive?
What are the hardware specs of computer?
Is the SSD encrypted?

Fix Attempt

First, try to boot into safe mode. Try inserting the Windows 7 installation disk and running it.
