    Ssd


    I have just replaced a hd with a new ssd but when I try to install win 10 from os disk made from Microsoft site, get message cannot install to selected disk. Selected disk is GPT partition style.
    How do I install
    I had win 10 with a digital licence.
    Hope someone can help.

    Delete all paritions on the drive and leave it blank

    Thank you for your reply. Do i just format the drive or is there a way to deleat things. This is a brand new drive. Thank you look forward to your reply.

    During the installation, it should show you a screen asking which drive to install on, select that drive and then select Delete from the icons at the bottom to delete whatever partitions are on it, then you can continue the install and Windows will do what needs to be done to install the OS.
