How to install Windows7 on HP PAV15 laptop with Ryzen and NVMe

    Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum, I recently have the laptop in question and I can't install windows7. I prefer it to be with dual boot (to have the option to start and 10).

I apologize for the lack of English.

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the Forum.

Do you have a Retail Win 7 license? If you don't, forget it.
New hardware is made to use Win 10.
On some new hardware it's possible to install Win 7, specially not OEM desktops. On laptops are a little more complicated.
Win 7 installation drive doesn't have the new required drivers (SATA, USB3.x, NVMe). You have to add those drivers to the Win 7 installation drive. @SIW2 has made a script to add those drivers to the Win 7 installation drive.
Update your Win 7 installation media

Before you begin, make a disk image of your current drive on an external drive.

    w7 ryzen apu driver

The link for this does not work, but I have found what may possibly be the article that has the driver. Not sure if that even works though. I don’t know if it disappeared because of a lot of problems or what. Does anyone know of a driver that would work or could be tried? I will be using my Gigabyte GA-AX370 gaming mobo and likely a ryzen 2400g or ge.

Yes that is the article I referred to. I see there are two drivers to try, the 21.5.2 or 25.11.1. But what is the "Pure drivers for mainboards and CPUs" Do I need that also? I am intending to first just go from my 1500x (which has a video card) to the 2400g naked using my current install then add the driver if that works to test this all. If no go then I can do a fresh install. Thanks.
