sha2 is the window that pops up right before the install that shows the many extra options, right?
    No.

2019 SHA-2 Code Signing Support requirement for Windows and WSUS

Win7 needs the sha2 updates integrated for a variety of things, including being able to use the amd mainboard drivers and amd gpu drivers.

Most people Integrate sha2 update into the win7 installation media to be able to use the amd drivers.

If the win7 image has already been applied to a partition, integrate the sha2 update using dism++

If you used the 7update tool correctly, that should already have been done.

If you have set up the bios correctly as well, then I don't know what you are doing wrong.

Did you integrate the amd mainboard drivers?

Ohhh I see. That makes sense. I hadn't ever seen that extra UI in an install before so I assumed that's what it is and why it was optional. Well, either way I used the version on your post with sha2 included (v60).

I believe so. I've toyed with almost every setting I can think of including removing all my OC's and setting it back to stock. Forgot to mention but it's also on the latest version. I had this problem before updating the BIOS as well (so a second-to-last version as the latest was still in beta when I first had this issue)

I don't know if those are the same drivers that are on the root thread you linked me to (I think they are), but I did place those in the Drivers folder of the 7updater program. And I believe it did apply them as I saw it doing so while the program was running.

Would you happen to know what loads after classphp.sys in the boot sequence? I'm wondering if I knew that if it would provide any clues.
