    Installing on ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 TP412 NVMe support?

    Everytime I try to install on this computer;
    ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 TP412

    It freezes before seup opens when the four colors come together. I think I need NVMe support and it cant copy file to HDD so it freezes,... does anyone have a link to an ISO with support? In currently only running LINUX and cant build a version.

    TIA

    Welcome to the Forum.

    Did the VivoBook Flip 14 TP412 came with win 10?
    Do you have a win 7 license to use on the VivoBook?

    New hardware is built to run win 10. It doesn't mean that some can't have Win 7. The main problem is that the new hardware requires drivers that aren't on the Win 7 installation drive. You have to add those drivers (SATA, USB3.x, NVMe) to the installation files or you won't have mouse or see the drive on witch you want to install Win 7.
    SIW2 made a script to add those drivers to the installation files.
    Update your Win 7 installation media
    You will probably won't have touch screen under win 7.

    Please edit your profile with all the hardware specs.

    Hey,.. Thanks. Im not a complete Noob by any means. I realize that Windows 7 for some is hard to maintain. To answer your questions: It Did come with windows 10 pre-installed but Im using Kubuntu 20.10 primarily... However there are any situations were Windows Programs are nessasary and Windows 7 is by no doubt the best flavor. I have many Windows 7 keys floating around but not for the FlipBook itself. The Driver Script Link is a big help; however ASUS dosnt provide all of the major Drivers on the Site. NVMe, SATA, etc. Maybe I somehow overlooked them or the drivers are only listed under other variants of the same NetBook. I cant even Install a fresh Develepors Preview SDK Buid of Windows 10 from Microsoft. It asks me for Drivers for the NVMe that I cant seem to find.

    I remeber on my HP I found a 'Universal' Package of Drivers to be injected into your seven build WMP Cabs but I seem to find them to try them. Plus Im soley on LINUX now due to circumstances...

    Anyway: Thanks for your advice and I'll Do my best to update My SPECS soon...

    You won't find Win 7 drivers on the Asus site. You will only find win 10 drivers.
    If you look closer to SIW2 script, all drivers are there.
