    USB not working Asus TUF Gaming B550 dual boot Win 10/Win 7 Ultix64

    So Recently I cloned my old PC's 2TB hdd (running windows 7 ultimate x64) to a new 4TB hdd and wanted to dual boot my new PC which runs windows 10 with no issues currently.

    The Asus TUF Gaming B550 does not allow any USB's to work when I try to boot from the win7 hdd on my new PC.
    I also created a Win7 Ultimate x64 USB bootable drive and the same issues happen when I boot from that USB, no USB deviced work. I tried wired and Wireless mice and keyboards which work fine in windows 10 or on the older pc as well.

    I was wondering without being able to actually install USB drivers in the new PC's windows 7 environment itself is there a way I can add USB 3.0 drivers to that hdd win7 install through windows 10 ? I have edited some Asus bios settings already as well and nothing seemes to work.

    Can only presume that since the mobo is fairly newer than windows 7 the manufacturer did not include usb 3.0 support out of the box.

    Not sure why the usb 2.0's also do not work though for the bootable USB stick or the in windows 7 install on the new pc.

    Thanks so much in advance for any tips or tricks.

    AMD B550 (Ryzen AM4)

    you could run dism++ in win10 and select the win7 in the top pane.

    click open session.

    click updates .

    click add

    browse to the update file.

    click drivers

    click add

    browse to the drivers folder.

    dism++
