W7-Pro COA will not work? This is the 1st. time I've used / tried it.

I am trying to install W7-Pro on an HP System.
I purchased the English Version from the Internet.
I received what appeared to be an "unopened" NEW W7-Pro X64 Version.
Inside the Envelope was a COA which I entered when asked by the Install Procedure.
It said the COA was not valid!
I double, triple checked what I entered and it matched what was printed on the Envelope.
It still said the COA was invalid.
Any solutions or advice will be appreciated.

I purchased the English Version from the Internet.
    Why?

if the coa sticker that was originally on the machine has worn off, use slp activation. I assume is an older hp machine?

Probably the key has been used.
What Win 7 version was originally on the HP?

It was a refurbed HP 800 G1 EliteOne AIO.
There was no sticker however W10 was installed on the Hard Drive.
    I want to use W7-Pro!

    What is SLP Activation?

SLP = System Locked Preinstallation. It is a kind of license used by OEM manufactures to activate Win 7.
The BIOS has a license code that can be used to activate a win 7 installation. The Win 7 type (H, HP, Pro or Ultimate) installed must mach the SLP code on BIOS.

SIW2 can guide you on the process.

I ordered a set of Restore Media from a company called Recovery Software.
They are in England so it may be a while until I receive them.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get my System working under Windows-7 Pro.

    HP-OEM-win7-pro.zip

install from the dvd , skip entering the key. After installation run the file.

If you have already installed win7 pro, no need to do it again, just run the file.

    Hi

if your system specs are correct ie 2 HP desktops
BOTH should have had a COA attached.....
the backup keys are not "tied" to >>THAT<< specific machine, and can be used on any other HP computer

The link that SIW2 provided will include the SLP required files

if the activation fails please provide the Mgadiag report from this link and i will analyse it
    https://www.sevenforums.com/attachme...ns-mgadiag.exe

    note
its possible that you may have to call MS

    I'm in a Catch-22 situation.

I do not have any Internet Access via the PC I'm struggling to upgrade.
I do not know how to get a ZIP Program to the same PC to unZip what the download you provided me with.
Not having Internet Access limits me to IE-8!

    Any feedback will be appreciated.
