How can I repair system files from boot.wim if no DISM /RestoreHealth

If DISM Version 6.1.7600.16385, on my Windows 7 Professional 64-bit laptop, had a RestoreHealth switch, I would enter this command.
DISM /online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth /source:[drive letter redacted so it's not converted here into an emoji]:\sources\boot.wim

Here is a screenshot of DISM /? showing what is available in DISM Version 6.1.7600.16385:

What would I enter using this version of DISM to accomplish the same thing as I would accomplish with /RestoreHealth if this version of DISM had that?

    You could try sfc.
    sfc /scannow /offbootdir=D:\ /offwindir=D:\Windows

Otherwise system restore, or if able to boot into the os then repair install.

I entered sfc /scannow /offbootdir=D:\ /offwindir=D:\Windows, thinking it was meant as a command, which of course didn't work. Then I realized you meant that as a template. There is no Windows folder on the boot disc, so I entered:
    sfc /scannow /offbootdir=D:\sources\boot.wim
    This is what I got:

Re KB947821, I can't access the Internet on my Travelmate until I get the corrupted system files fixed, so I came to a branch of the city public library for that KB article. The computers here are blocked from sites from which anything can be downloaded, so I can't read KB947821. Would you please copy the text of KB947821 (not an image of the article) to a Notepad or Wordpad file, and insert it in a reply to this thread?

Re system restore, I should have but never saved an image to restore to. Once I get the corrupted system files fixed I will do so.
Re repair install, the Windows 7 Pro SP1 on my Travelmate doesn't have it, and repair is not a command that is recognized when I run cmd.exe as an Administrator.

    Hi

KB947821 (x64) is about 500mb, you could download it to a USB, from any other comp, and run it from that...

note if you run Repair install X3 the next attempt should call a repair routine

I was able to read about KB947821 on someone else's computer. From what I read, KB947821 is System Update Readiness Tool, which helps to fix problems that occur during Windows updates and service packs installation. My local Best Buy geek squad person told me that Microsoft took down the update files since it discontinued support for Windows 7, and Best Buy didn't save the updates. I have the system files backed up on D:\sources\boot.wim but I didn't find anything that said KB947821 installs a version of DISM that has /RestoreHealth. Is Repair install X3 a cmd.exe command, or is it the name of a software file? Is it something that's on my Acer Travelmate or is it installed by KB947821?

    he is mistaken.

There is no dism /restorehealth for win7.

KB947821 System Update Readiness Tool is a different way of attempting some repairs for win7.

Microsoft Update Catalog - System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7: Microsoft Update Catalog - search=KB947821 windows 7
There are several to pick from, some are for 32-bit, the ones with 'x64-based' in the name are for 64-bit.
