    Errors appear even after format

I used the DiskPart 'clean' command as suggested here. I saw 'Windows could not format a partition' during setup, even after formatting in Acronis Disk Director and trying another ISO.

Deleting and recreating the partition during setup gave the same error, and doing this in Acronis gave 'Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition'.

My disk isn't damaged. Please help!

How did the boot sector break? Many sites say it can be fixed and it's not under warranty.

Toshiba no longer make PCs so I can't find their test, but SeaTools passed. I'm taking it for repair today.
