    Link to Win7 iso download

I want to do a clean install of Win7 on my Lenovo Thinkpad X250. I have the original OEM disks but the drive does not work. I've learned that I can use something called Rufus to create a bootable flash drive and that I can download a Win7 iso file. I was hoping I could do this on Microsoft's site but if it is possible, I don't see where or how. Can someone provide a link to download the iso file from a trustworthy site? Thanks.

Avast is blocking access to the site for downloading the Lenovo drivers because of Phisshing. Aarrgghh!

What am I to do with this? SHA1: 0BCFC54019EA175B1EE51F6D2B207A3D14DD2B58

You have several zip files at the bottom of your post. Am I to use these, too?

Can you suggest the best browser to use with a Win7 system?

It is such a relief to have found a community able to help!

@SIW2, a neighbor's 8 yr old was struggling with reading. His parents were perplexed as he would read aloud to them and did so quite well, but he hated it and didn't want to talk about the books. Working with him, I realized he had learned how to decode the words quite well using phonics but in the process was not hearing the story he was reading. I recorded him reading and then had him listen. His face lit up when he made the connection that his words were telling a story!
As I read your references to sha1 and sha2 and such, I feel that like the little boy, I'm seeing without hearing! My knowledge is minimal but at least I have the internet to search for explanations! Even with your guidance, I daresay I'll be fumbling through the process but at least you have pointed me in the right direction and given me the right tools. I hope that as I "decode" them I'll be able to make sense of it all.
I'm a lifetime Firefox user so will look for the older version.
    Thanks again!

@SIW2, I should be able to get the drivers from Lenovo, right? My ThinkPad is still registered with them.

You can use Win 10 DISM from a Win 10 installation drive to save the current drivers from your computer to a USB flash drive and use them after re installation
