Cannot Repair W7 Professional OS With Full ISO Installation Disc

    Good afternoon.

I am experiencing trouble with one of my video games and have deduced that my W7 Professional OS itself is the culprit. Someone tried to test my problem on W7 themselves and could not reproduce it, so I assume that my OS is faulty.

I followed the instructions to perform an in-place "upgrade" using the full W7 installation disc. However, that failed, and it told me that a Windows OS could not upgrade to itself.

This is the error I received:

The "upgrade" repair system went all the way to the end before it failed. My computer restarted and showed me this error.

    What do I do now?

Thank you for any assistance that you may render.

    Warm regards,
    -TURTLESHROOM

That error message appears when you use 32bit (x86) install media on a 64bit comp
it will show as your repairing your OS from >>within a running 64bit<< system

I know. The DVD that I use is a sixty-four bit installation. I've used it to recover my OS and System Images several times.
