cannot install win 7 , disapears without error message

hay there , ive been trying to install windows 7 ultimate 32 bit from vista premium 32 bit for some time now. after i click agree and install it starts doing the 'checking compatibility' its does this for about 3 minutes then it disappears and goes back to the menu where it says 'check compatibility' or 'install'. I paid money for something that is so far, incomplete and broken.

    please help

Try extracting the files from the disc to a seperate drive/partition and run setup.exe from there... Hope this works for you...

Try downloading and running the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, see if it works and if so, does it flag anything as a problem.
