    Windows.old

I had to reinstall Win7 Ultimate. Apparently the whole [8Gb] previous installation was saved as "Windows.old". The new installation is functioning well. Is it safe to delete Windows.old?

As long as you dnot need any data from it YES. use the disk cleanup wizard to delete it
