Did you also check the mobo maker's Support Downloads page for your model mobo BIOS update?

Try clearing the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS

You may end up having to run 32 bit at 2 gb of RAM which runs fine for one of my home PC's.

In the future consider Kingston RAM because they proactively troubleshoot and will replace if they think it should work on your mobo, completely oppo approach of most tech support to deflect and deny.

clearing the cmos is the first thing i did... i would hate to have to run a 32bit system with 2g of ram. because thats the sole reason i went for this pc... is to be able to run 64 bit... it defeats the purpose of a dual core cpu to only run 32 bit
