The first alternative link. Zshare i think. I only saw the thing about Vista when I was about to write ISO to flash. Everything else says Windows 7

Ok, so the flash is ready. What do I do now?

It would be there either way. Was it ever there? It would be at the top of the F8 menu.

All those 32 bit download links are for Repair disk

Reboot the computer, see if flash will boot.

Select Startup Repair and run 3 separate times.

If not, tap f8 and LOOK FOR REPAIR MY COMPUTER.

ultraISO not too modern for that

    which it was for xp.

RUN startup repair 3 separate times, rebooting each time until Win7 starts up.

There are multiple issues to fix. First runs dozen or so tests. Then tries repairing (bootrec) commands, then final step Rewrite's (bootsect) MBR.

Ok, first run at Start-up repair.

First - I think it failed.

Did it find installation to repair?

Did it offer up front to run startup repair (won't work first time)
