Am I going to lose my vista cd key after upgrading?

Hi...

Am I going to lose my vista CD key after upgrading to windows 7 because I heard from many people that I will not be able to use my vista CD key in case I wanted to return to windows vista?

If you use an upgrade key, you are not allowed to return to Vista.
If you use the full version, you can return to Vista.

You are buying the cheaper upgrade version, and that is what it means. You have upgraded, you no longer have rights to the prior OS.

TS

If you do an upgrade the vista key will be deactivated. Should you wish to go back a phone call to MS will be nec.
