MAxtor Harddrive tools

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to where I can find a Maxtor Drive Diagnostic tool as I seem to be getting a lot of errors on my drive, Have tried Google but got lost in the thousands of links.

Hi stevepressman,

Maxtor is now owned by Seagate and their software works a-ok on Maxtor drives. Check their support down load page Downloads: Hard Drive Installation & Computer/PC Diagnostic Software | Seagate

missing Maxtor HD
I used to have one! It seems to have disappeared, and I run diagnostics, and shows that the driver is messed up. I uninstall old driver, replug the external Maxtor HD back in, it shows that it installed a new driver, and I have to reboot. I do that, and still no HD. This is what I get, any help...
