Windows 7: install failed twice

thanks for your help. unfortunately, my problem was apparently not vista related. i am still having restart after restart now that i have done the clean install. (which went well, btw) possibly worse than before the install. i bought the computer from best buy in july and will start there today, hopefully. the windows 7 disc did come from HP so hopefully that won't be an issue. i'm not going to start installing any of my software again until this is resolved. Thanks again for the info and support!

Restarts such as you are seeing usually relate to a power supply issue of some sort.
