It really comes down to personal choice and I have upgraded myself and so have many others, some people have had no problems with this method and some have ended up having to do a fresh install anyway, so it's up to you.
Upgraded from 7000 to 7048, took 18mins and all seems OK. Creative X-Fi drivers borked up, but was warned that would happen before upgrade, just installed the beta ones and they work fine now. Nvidia drivers were missing after upgrade also, so just installed the new Win7 beta ones to correct that problem.

A few services had re-enabled themselves, apart from that, a smooth upgrade indeed!

Smoaky,

You cant! You can compare it to Win Vista though, until RC1 is released.

BIOS - Incremental updates to latest vrsn or direct update to latest?
Greetings! I have Acer Aspire 5750G. My current BIOS version is 1.07. The latest version is 1.12. There are a few versions in between. Should I do incremental updates and reach 1.12 or should I just go direct to 1.12? Many Thanks!
