Alright, slightly promising update. The driver install actually worked this time. The bad thing is that my choices of where to install windows are:

Disk 1 Partition: My book (my external hard drive I used to load the driver)
Disk 1 Unallocated Space (no idea)
Both are My Book, no go.

I got back to those two choices, I can't do anything with either of them. It says "Windows cannot be installed to this disk."

The Unallowcated Space sounds & looks like it is on the MyBook... Right ?

Yea, that's why I can't install on it. Guess you can't install on USB devices.

I plugged my HDD into my brothers computer and it recognized it right away. I think my MA785GT-UD3H is faulty. There have been similar problems with this board.

I'm returning it to newegg and exchanging it for a new one. They're letting pick out a different one of similar price. Any suggestions on which to get?
