    Update: I don't know what happened, but Blu Ray now plays magnificently on my 7048 box with PowerDVD 7.3 Ultimate. I don't recall making any changes, and I hadn't attempted to play any BR for maybe a month, but hey presto - it works now!. Perhaps an update to 7048 fixed the problem. Watching Planet Earth now... I hate it when I don't know what fixed something, though.

    hey i went from 6801 >6936 >7000>7022>7048>7057>7068>7077 and i never formated. been working fine. this is all x64

Hi guys If you want to revert back to build 7048 without having to do a fresh install and re-install all your programs you CAN actually do an "Update" from W7 7057 to 7048. You'll just get a Warning that the version is older than your current and that a device or two might not work --mine...
Hi guys Can someone confirm that it's a general problem or have I just got a bad D/L. If I try and UPGRADE from W7 build 7048 X-64 to Build 7057 X-64 it starts OK but after a while (during the expanding files stage) I get error -- some necessary files for installation cannot be copied...

I'm trying to upgrade from 7000 to 7048. But i only get " setup was canceled", "setup can't continue. Restart the computer and restart setup"" where can I find the logfiles and see what error it is?
