Hello, Welcome!

If you are a student, you can get Windows 7 for $30: Windows 7 US Online Store - Student Registration

Otherwise you can buy it here: - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Anytime Upgrade from W7 Starter - Operating Systems

Hope this helps,

If you are a student, be sure to buy the $30 today or tomorrow, or else it will expire.

Windows 10, Home Clean Install

The upgrade DVD is a great buy. If you have a qualifying OS, it can be used just like a full retail version.

You won't be able to do an in-place Upgrade between Win7 versions as MS wants you to buy Anytime Upgrade instead.

However you can do a clean install from Starter or boot to format install from Upgrade DVD, and the Starter will be seen by the DVD to allow you to use the Upgrade key.
