    New acer 1810tz notebook 1st time boot back up


    Hello,

    I'm new to this forum cause today i receivd my notebook.
    I wanted to know if someone knows if it possible to back up my first boot on windows meaning before installation process and entering language and name insert

    this laptop doesn't has a dvd drive to back it up on but i want to use my external harddisk to create a duplicaten of first window boot. I also want to keep the partition That Acher came from acer on my notebook just in case, something goes wrong.

    Could someone advice me on which steps to take from first boot up screen and which program do i need to my external hdd to make such a backup

    Okay thanks so this image backup will bring me back too the first time installation process of windows 7 where name and network settings are asked.

    The Win7 backup image will capture an exact image of your HD at the moment it is imaged.

    Store the image externally so if you ever need to reimage or replace your HD, you can boot from the Win7 DVD or repair CD, select Repair My Computer, then Recover Using an Image, it will autodetect the image in the root of the external drive (or a primary formatted partition, or DVD's) and reimage in 15 minutes.
