    Windows Installer Fails

Still on build 7100- I can't install or uninstall most programs. The occasional program will setup or uninstall correctly. Mostly, though, I get "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable". Even Air products fail when updating/ removing/ installing. Seems like there's something wrong with access to the temp folder? Not sure- I'm a dabbler, by no means an expert, and I'm stumped. Can't say how annoying it is to not be able to remove or udpate programs. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Remember that 7100 was beta buggy.

    Try a Repair Install

It's probably time to buy a copy and clean install?

Until then, you could install Enterprise on a 90 day free trial from MS for a more stable install.

Did you take the Upgrade Advisor test to see what what was compatible with 7? If not go to compatiblity center and check it out. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...s/default.aspx

    Maybe this will work?
Can you post here and there if it did or not?

Just an update... still no luck, but haven't had sufficient time to troubleshoot.

Already use Revo (wouldn't use anything else). Problem is Revo has to use the built-in installer first.
