OK to upgrade build 7000 to 7057?

Is this okay? Has anyone done this? I read some problems in general when upgrading one version of Windows 7 to another, but is this common?

    Thanks.

Nothing to worry about at all.
    I have upgraded v7000 to v7022, v7022 to v7048, v7048 to v7052.
And if you do encounter a problem during the upgrade, it has a rollback feature that will take you back to your previous version.

    No need to.

Extract your iso to your hard drive and run setup.exe.

It does take longer to upgrade than to do a fresh install, but all the settings migrate fine.

And if it doesnt work, upgrade allows you to do a rollback to the previous beta version you were upgrading...

I have been lurking and glad I found this forum, I had been with the 7000 beta, and just recently (today) upgraded to the 7057 64bit. I really like W7, keep spending more time on this than my XP box, in fact I have the 32bit version of 57 on a small build, under my desk.

Will be lurking (reading) some more...

I'm going from 7000 x64 to 7057 x64 right now, all seems to be going OK so far. Thanks bearhawk, it was crashing when I mounted it and tried running the setup, extracting then running works fine.

Hey guys. I am going to upgrade to 7057 from my 7000 build in some time. i have a few questions.

Since i have XP and 7 in dual-boot, will upgrading create any problem? And how long does it take to upgrade?
