Si, will this fail because that unallocated was logical?

Could have been what caused it to fail in the first place.

I believe he did these same steps the other night but without converting.

The last screenie looked right - it seems PW was a bit slow updating the Virtual map.

    The steps appear correct.

I would do them one at a time - a batch of 6 is a lot.

( TBH - I would do what I suggested before - only 4 steps and the data doesn't move - but whatever is easier for Mitch)

No, Mitch. This is just extremely complicated.

    You are doing GREAT!

    Stand by.

Mitch these same steps failed when done the other night for some reason.

I'd use Undo button back to the first step and apply. Then post screenshot after restart.

May not even have to restart since it's not Win7 in these first steps.

If you want to take the chance it will fail again, apply all.

Don't worry if it only does some of them. You should be able to do the other steps after. Probably best not to try all 6 at once tho.

Safest is one at a time - at least reduce it to just the first 3.

    Then try the next 3.

Why would the pc need to restart 6 times?

It will take a while .

Can you remember each of the following steps exactly? If not - look back at the screenies in your posts.
