    Blue Screen of Death

Trying to install XP32 as dual boot with Windows 7 already installed. When I boot from the XP CD, the drivers start loading, but when XP setup trys to run, I just get the Blue Screen of Death, am I doing something wrong?

    Any help is appreceiated.
    Thanks

You may need to load the SATA controller drivers into XP at the F6 prompt given when it is loading drivers.

Also check in BIOS for what the SATA controller is set at. If not IDE emulation, then the XP installer likely does not have the newer SATA drivers.

Find them on your computer or mobo maker's Support Downloads page for your model.

Please also check the Event Viewer for the exact blue screen ID so its cause can be determined with certainty.
