XP doesn't boot after installing windows 7 & grub

I was hoping there is a bootloader wiz out there who can help me with this problem.

Basically, I started with Xp, then installed ubuntu, then windows 7. I installed grub so I could try to load all 3. That's when I started having problems booting xp (when I try to select it i get a blank screen).

So I uninstalled grub, leaving me with the windows 7 boot loader with the option to select windows 7 or xp, but it still won't boot. Since I uninstalled grub I am thinking it is a problem with windows 7.

As a side note, the windows 7 boot loader is in the xp partition. Also, I was able to boot xp from grub just fine after installing ubuntu.

Here is a post I made with some more details: Cannot boot xp from grub in multiboot - Linux Forums

    Hi,

From within 7, go to folder options and show hidden files.
There should be a boot.ini on the Xp partition.

Rt click it and select Edit.

Is it pointing at the second partition (I assume XP is on the second partition now?).

If not, d/l this, rt click >properties>unblock>Apply>ok.

    BOOTini-0-2.zip

Unzip it and copy the boot.ini file onto the XP partition - overwrite the existing one.

    Hope it helps.
