i keep seein tutorials showing how to make bootable iso if u downloaded RC but i have WIN 7 preinstalled n 3 recovery discs i burned when i first used my new system. What files do i need from my OS/Recovery discs to make a bootable ISO if possible.
P.S i want to dual boot XP & W7 but my recovery discs only recover system which wud wipe out XP installation.

I only found boot; efi; sources folders n bootmgr file on Recovery disc n found multiple instances of the other folders n files on OS but do not know which to ones to add. Then what do I do once I have all the folders n files. Please help me to get the exact files & folders n instructions on how to burn(CD/DVD) r write(USB) files to make W7 installation disc.
p.s I have UltraISO installed
Try booting from your discs. Which one takes you to the installation screen? That one is the one you want.
Otherwise, you will need to come up with a copy of the ISO or get he installation files somehow. Find a friend with an installation disc or the digital download. Head to torrent as a last resort, but make sure to verify it afterwards, so you know what you're getting.
May I ask why you need it?
I need bootable ISO so I can be able to install W7 on a partition that I make so that I can install XP then W7 on another partition and dual boot. I can only recover to factory settings; partition 1 (590.6GB of 640GB) r with my current settings those are the only options I get when I use Recovery disc #1.
What I really want to know is why do I need to download W7 if I have the OS on my HD? Shouldn't I be able to make an installation disc from the files I have in OS r Recovery Discs. I mean wudn't I be downloading what I already have pre-installed? I mean can't I be able to do something like make another recovery but be able to install it on the partition of my choice r use some other program r something rather than have to download?

Unfortunately not. That's like downloading Firefox, installing it, and deleting the installer, then trying to create the installer from the existing files. That would be nice, but it is not possible.

If you have an XP OEM license on that computer then you can use an XP OEM installer to install which will activate with that license, avoiding the need to use factory recovery which will wipe out Win7.
Unlike Win7 and Vista which use the same installer for retail or OEM, XP requires you to use an OEM installer for a factory installed OEM like you apparently have. There is a workaround to adapt a retail installer, however.
If this isn't an option for you, then you can create an image of your Win7 install using free Paragon 10 or Macrium Reflect which wlll reimage to the second partition you create after recovering XP, then use EasyBCD or a quick Repair Install to configure the dual boot.
