Are you doing a clean install?

Did you go to the MS upgrade advisor before trying the install?

I have updated BIOS and there is no more unnecessary hardware to remove.

You might as well. I have seen issues with RAM before, and it is a small fix for a lot of time wasted.

I have tried each module of RAM and it is still giving me the BSOD, with the same error code. I also have windows 7 32 bit and am going to try it next.

I installed windows 7 32 bit successfully however I would still like to know why 64 bit would not work.
My specs for my computer are :
    Asus motherboard M2N68-AM SE2
    AMD Phenom quad core 9600
    2 2GB modules of Corsair Part number: CMZXZ048-6400CS DDR2 PC2-6400 400 MhZ

And there is no removable hardware.
    Thank You
