Reinstalling Win7 Home Premium OEM ?

    Hi,

I have a PC with an activated version of Win7 Home Premium OEM edition installed that I wish to wipe clean, ie, wipe the hard drive then reinstall a clean OS.

Will the Win7 Home Premium OEM activate OK via the microsoft website after the reinstall or will I have to phone up to get it activated ?

The clean install will be on the same machine as the original install but I am not sure how many reinstalls I am allowed on the same machine with an OEM version.

    Thx for any help.

OEM versions are tied to the mobo...Phone activation may be required if u wish to reinstall your OS.:)

It is the same mobo, ie, same PC same everything.

Most reinstalls to same hardware don't require the robocall, which deactivates on previous hardware before activation. Even it it does, it only takes 5 minutes.

Shouldn't be a problem reinstalling your OS as it's an OEM version..As long as you don't change your mobo.Other hardware changes is ok.:)
