    PC specs
AMD Phenom II 965 3.4 GHz
    4 GIG RAM
    1.5 tb hard drive

Hope someone can help. I am tring to install a OEM windows 7 pro 64 bit as a clean install it goes through all the setup and restarts several times but then after it restarts it gives me a screen that is [This Computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error Windows install cannot proceed restart computer to install] I have done this several times what could this be. I have read all the install messages and cannot seem to find how to fix this problem. Please any HELP out there??

Where did you get the ISO? Burn the DVD again using ImgBurn at 4x speed with Verify, or Verify the DVD.

Check if there is a more recent BIOS version update for your BIOS, on your maker's support downloads page.

Check also what the SATA controller setting is.

What should the SATA Controller setting be?

    The safest mode is IDE.

That said, Win7 included AHCI mode drivers for my controller (Intel X58 based motherboard).

I'm not sure that Microsoft would be so accomodating for an AMD chipset, though.
