    W7 Upgrade failure with jraid.sys (0xc0000359)

I somehow fluke past the first hurdle which was an apparently incompatible Gigabyte GBB36X Controller driver. I installed a driver pack with a heap of drivers from here:
    GA-P55-UD3L (rev. 1.0) - GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - Driver
Not sure if I chose the GA-P55-UD3L or the GA-P55-UD3R though But maybe it doesn't matter because either one takes me to a GA-P55-UD3 driver page.

Everything seemed to be running fine though so I went ahead with the W7 installation, the Gigabyte GBB36X Controller issue was gone. But when the computer rebooted during the W7 installation I got the error about a missing or corrupted jraid.sys. I don't really know what it is or where it is. Can someone help me find exactly what I need to install?

A quick google tells me its for a JMicron Raid set up.Perhaps the drivers you downloaded werent the right ones, there are 4 different versions here : GIGABYTE - Search
Once you select your version select your OS from the drop down box below it.

Then load the Win7 disc>Install>Advanced>Load Drivers and load it from there (a usb stick would work or a floppy disk)
Then just point windows to the place you want to install.

If all else fails, i'd advise a clean install,it usally bypasses all of the undesired effects which upgrades can throw at the user.

Not sure what I did, but after a random reboot, a missing winload.exe, it just installed. Thanks for the help.
