missing required CD/DVD driver
I am trying to install Windows 7 Home Premium x86_64 on my computer. When I get to the "Collecting Information" stage I get this error
My motherboard does not support USB booting, has 5 SATA ports, and one IDE port that supports two drives in master/slave configuration. I also have a floppy drive attached.A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.
Note: If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step.
I have two IDE hard drives (80GB and 320GB), one IDE CD/DVD drive, and one SATA CD/DVD drive. The SATA drive replaced the IDE drive. The first configuration I tried was 80GB IDE HD master 320GB IDE HD slave and SATA CD/DVD to boot installation DVD from. Second configuration was IDE CD/DVD master, 80GB IDE HD slave.
Neither config worked and I can't find drivers for either CD/DVD drive.
CD/DVD drive model numbers:
SATA drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST
IDE drive: SONY CRX320AE
Could it be a bad disc burn? The disc is 3.00GB in size or 3,224,686,592 bytes in size.
