This is just not gonna be easy...

Changed the boot sequence as suggested..

"Press any key to boot from CD or DVD"

Installation menu comes up, so far so good, choose UPGRADE..then

"The computer started using the Windows installation disc. Remove the installation disc and restart your computer so that Windows starts normally. Then, insert the installation disc and restart the upgrade."

...guess what happens when I do that.

    Loop

You can't do an upgrade, you will need to start a fresh install, so choose custom, if you have any files on the Partition that you don't want to loose then don't format the partition, just select it and hit next, all you files will be put in a folder called Windows.old

    Thank you Mr GRIM :)

..it hurts to see all my tweaks, add-ons and so forth gone with the wind..

but alas, Windows 7, build 7068 is up and running

And perhaps a clean install is just what the doctor ordered, I am a tweaky freak..and sometimes a fresh start is just what the Doctor ordered.

    Thanks guys. This forum Rocks!
