Should i click "format" or "delete"?

hey i got windows vista atm, and wanna go to win7 Clean Install!

but my question is at the partition part what do i need to do? all i got is 1 partiton (windows vista) and i wanna do a clean install to install w7

should i i click "delete partition" or "format partition"?

Format then delete, im not sure if the delete option automatically formats the partition before it deletes it.
