Lost of DNG files

    Lost of DNG files


    I thought I had done every thing right like the software had told me to do ,like doing a back up and such, well some how I done did something wrong and have lost my 2009 and 2010 photo files and then there are files that I can get the fotos but lack the digital info on them : I am Not A techie person am a slow learner so if you give info do it route form please that I can follow : or tell me I am nuts : which ever: Thanks Sqjaw

    We could use some information on what you did. If you deleted them by accident there are applications (Like recuva) that may be able to restore them for you.

    I back up the system with windows back up and restore software first then I put the seven disc in and did a clean boot from disc via a F tab then it did its thing and so on, and I still had all my partitions : after it was all over I started to load files to my folders such as photos and old programs that I use and after I thought I had everything done and done correctly; I started to dump files to get some space
    and this is where I think I screwed everything now That I write this ?? In my Back up files I have back ups going back 12/00/09 , I tryed to run a restore from one of the back up files But ended up with duplicate files ?? ,Like I said I not a Tech person with this stuff: Thanks anyways :
