Asus DVD may be locked to each model.

Du you know if there is any soft to unlock it? coz i like the new win7, on the laptop it is very fast so it will be faster on my desktop... and 64 bits would allow me to use my 4go of RAM...

That copy of Windows 7 is locked to the Laptop as are all OEM versions of Windows 7. Even if you could install it on the desktop, you couldn't activate it.

Greg, he is trying to use the Windows 7 DVD from his ASUS laptop to upgrade his Desktop PC which is currently running XP. He does need to by another copy of Windows 7.
