Windows N version was / is to European market, does not include WMP. Windows K version is for Korean market, where local law requires Windows installation to put two Korean website shortcuts on desktop.

Windows KN version is a combination of these two: it installs two local, Korean website shortcuts and comes without WMP.

I just installed win 7 ultimate n on my Dell Latitude 110l (yes its old) everything went smoothly but now I am unable to update or install my video controller and the audio. My resolution is set to high my external monitor is not being detected. Went to the dell web site to download the proper drivers nvidia did not install had to shut down stating "Setup detected that the operating system in use is not Windows 2000 or XP/7(32 bit). This set up program and its associated drivers are designated to run only on Windows 2000 XP/7 (32 bit). The installation will be terminated" Any ideas or suggestion on how to reinstall my sound & video drivers.

Sound & video problems in Windows 7

OK tech net gurus, I am still able to perform the task that deals with the device manager. Still unable to install any drivers to my computer. What or why is the version that I am using causing my Latitude 110L to be robbed of the sound & video. The version that I am using is a Windows 7 Ultimate N SP1 and like before I get a "Setup detected the operating system in use is not Windows 2000 0r XP/7 (32-bit). This setup program and its associated drivers are designed to run on Windows 2000 or XP/7 (32-bit). This installation will be terminated." I just did a Windows update on all the languages that can be possible listed downloaded along with other updates needed and when done I received a message stating that my Windows copy is legit. HELP ME please!
    Thank you,

Did you download the .ISO and make a DVD (burning at a slow speed)?
Did you do a 'clean' install?

What I find odd, is that it did some what of an upgrade. When the install was done. I found that my hard drive was untouched. If I am correct when you install an OS it is supposed to inform you if you want to partition the hard drive. I am not quit getting the concept.

Thank you all for Your inputs some of it worked and some did not.. I did a reinstall of windows 7 contacted Microsoft after I was informed by my comp to do so... What Microsoft did was trace the steps I did when I went to Dell drivers&downloads & No my comp was not supported by Vista & 7 did a Sigmatel download and the video download from the selected OS by selecting the MS-DOS. Ran both by right clicking the download>select the Compatibility mode> select run this program in compatibility mode for: what is recommended which in my case Windows XP(Service Pack 3)>select the Privilege Level box> select Run this program as an administrator> hit OK. From there you right click the download program and select run as administrator... BOTH WERE SUCCESSFUL YES GRAPHICS & SOUND NOW WORKING am I excited Yes I am sooo now I'm sharing the info among all My fellow veteran Techs..... You are all appreciated by me...
    Thank You,
