Where is the install getting to and are you installing from disc on startup or from within the OS?

So you mean you are mounting the iso and clicking on setup from within the 32bit OS? If so then you will find that may be causing the problem, it's best if you can burn it to a disc and install from boot.

I used The Official ImgBurn Website to burn to a bootable dvd.

You can't start a 64 bit install from inside a 32 bit os. You need to either do the thumbdrive thing or a dvd burn and boot from it.
