Guys, My computer will not load 7, please help me

    Hi,
Ok, Heres the problem in more detail:
My computer will get to the "Loading windows" screen with that fancy animation with the orbs, it will sit there and pulse for 30 seconds. Then it shuts down. I turn back on, it goes to the Start Windows Normally or Startup Recovery screen.
    Choose Start Norm:
Goes to the orb animation, sits and pulses for 30 seconds then goes to blue screen with, Error:Coooooo21A(Roughly that) Start Physical Memory Dump and counts up rapidly in sections of 15 then reboots, see top of thread
    Startup Recovery:
Attempts repair, reboots after repair, goes to blue screen described above

I can access F8 Menu, But with the following effects:
Safe mode, all of them will go to the loading files screen, then shuts down without booting
Recovery, System restore, will not restore, it will go through and do it but at the end it will say it cannot because 1 of 2 files is corrupt
Start normally, See above, all the way to top.

I have just Upgraded my computer from Vista Home Premium to 7 Home premium with a students discount download I chose the .exe option, so the files are on my desktop, i also have a copy on a separate computer

That should be enough info, if you need to know more, please feel free to ask

    Thanks in advance,
    Hamish

Have you considered a Fresh install?

    This should help.
Make bootable iso from student d/l

If you do decide to do a fresh install, please don't forget to backup all your stuff!

Hi fellow Aussie, have you any files etc. on there you want to save before going further.

    64bit or 32bit Win 7 ?.
that lappy is best used with a 64bit OS.

    Hi,
    a few files
    are they important (large) ?
could save them with a Linux disk.

If not a fresh install is best.

Have you still got any Toshiba/ Vista stuff on it ?
