Hello sevenforums

My brother has a UL50V with Win7 premium 64x allready installed. he recieved with the computer a cd with recovery media for windows 7 product.
I've some problems:
  1. While trying to recovery i got the recovery.dat error.
  2. i somehow got it installed but everytime it goes to sleep i can't login again. i have to restart
  3. I can't find the languagepacks through windows update. I'm looking for a danish language pack for windows premium 7 64x-bit
  4. Is it somehow possible to make a clean install
i cant paste the print screen of my disk management into the blog but i've got 3 partitions: OS, DATA and 14.65 GB partition with no name.

Thanks in advance

First, only Windows 7 Ultimate has access to the language packs. Home Premium will not be able to use them.

To do a clean install, see this tutorial: Clean Install Windows 7

Is it possible to make a clean install with the recovery disc?
what about the 14.65 GB partition in my harddisk?

No, you will not be able to do a clean install with that.

You need to get a hold of the installation media. Find a friend that has the same version, or call Microsoft and have them send you a DVD.
