How to dualboot XP & Vista now, then add 7

    Hello all,

I can't figure out how to set up dual boot with two complete, but seperate drives already running respective OS's then add 7 on a third drive..

I have two seperate HD's, one with XP, one with Vista Ultimate already on them. I want to be able to dual-boot these but all I can find is setting up dual boot when installing one or the other (Vista w/XP already on or XP w/Vista already on). I have EasyBCD on hand.. Yeah, I know abt changing the bios to select which hd to start with..

    Thanks, TJ

Add XP from Vista using EasyBCD 2.0. On add/remove tab, add XP, accept boot files, Save, restart to dual boot menu.

Next install Win7 with both other HD's plugged in and it should correctly configure the Multi-Boot for all 3.

If you instead want the HD's to remain independent, set the preferred HD to boot first in HD boot order, then use the one-time Boot menu key given on first bootup screen (usually F12 or F10) to trigger other HD's. If you want to use this method of booting via BIOS, unplug other HD's while installing win7.
