User Control Panel missing settings and icons - Windows 7 Embedded

    Hello everybody

My first post here, hope I'm doing it right.

I'm trying to get a Windows 7 Standard Embedded to work as "it should"

The issue can be seen on the attached photo in this post.

No matter what CAB I install after the image has been build the screen I get under "Control Panel" - "User Accounts" - "User Accounts" is the one I have attached.

I can't find the right feature or pack that I need to install or activate to make me be able to get the normal setting screen in "User Accounts".

Is there any of you people who can tell me what am doing wrong?

    Best regards
    Morten

Test for infection, run SFC, establish a Clean Boot, then continue through the other Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 reporting back as you go in case other steps are indicated.

    Hi gregrocker

This is embedded system aas i wrote, not a normal Windows 7 installationm this question is about what features i need to activate to get the normal user account settings without installating ALL features as that would make the point of embedded useless.

It has nothing to do with infection or other normal end user problems, this error comes up if you customize the build, thats why i ask if anybody knows what feature is needed to activate the user account settings as you can see on the attached image.

    Regards
    Morten

The User Accounts page would not appear that way except in cases of corruption. The idea it occurs because of limitations of a build is unlikely, nothing I've ever seen here in tens of thousands of cases.

What type of "embedded" Win7 do you have that makes you think that? Please provide a URL link to it.
