Problem installing win7, acer eRecovery gets in the way

    Hi,
I don't know much about fixing computers and how to explain this so I'm just going to include everything that I've done about this problem.

I have an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop and wanted to change from Vista Basic 32 bit to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. I put in the Win7 disc and did the whole installing process. But when that was finish and Windows 7 "finalising", it fades out and restarted then a File Not Found pop up saying "cannot find file: C:\D2D\Images\*.WSI when try to determine UI language". I clicked OKAY then it goes to Acer eRecovery Management with the message "how would you like to restore?". I chose "restore system to factory setting" and I couldn't see it fast enough but there was a table/grid saying something about Source: Hard disk partition 2 then another message pops up saying "restore failed - reason 0xa0000001" click okay to restart.
So I restarted and try the other option which is restore system from CD/DVD and was told to insert backup disk 1 or system CD. I don't have any of those, or..where do I find it? I can't use my laptop now so I can't create a backup disk or whatever acer eRecovery wants.
Then when the Acer screen starts during startup, I pressed F2 and go into boot. Played around with the boot priority order to be able to run the Windows 7 disc again and this is the order that boot up the cd for me:
    1:Network Boot: MBA v10.0.9 Slot 0500
    2:USB CDROM
    3:IDE1: MATSHITADVD-RAM UJ870QJ
    4:IDE0: Hitachi HTS542580K9SA00
    5:USB FDD:
    6:USB HDD:
I don't know what the other ones does but I moved the 'network boot' up to 1st. Pressed F10 save and exit. enter to boot cd then installed Windows 7 again. I chose 'custom' for a clean install and was shown three partitions. I don't know what they are until now, but I only have a slight idea. In the "where would you like to install" there are:
Disk 0 Partition 1: PQSERVICE size:9.8 gb free space:2.3 gb
Disk 0 Partition 2: Acer C:\ (something along that line) size:32.5 gb free space:7.3 gb
    Disk 0 Partition 3: D:\ size:32.3 gb free space:28.5 gb
The first time I install Win7, I chose Partition 3 D drive because it's the only one with enough space left. Then when it gets to the Acer eRecovery thing where it said something about Partition 2 but it disappeared too quickly, I thought maybe I should've choose Partition 2. So on the Win7 Install Windows program, I chose Repair your computer and check to see that Win7 is in my D drive and Vista is in my C drive. When I went back to reinstall, I formatted Partition 2 (my C drive) to make room for the installation and have backup all my files on disc. But same thing happened, acer eRecovery gets in the way at the end and I can't go anywhere else.
Then I went back to "repair your computer" again in Windows 7 Install thing to see that now Vista is gone and Windows 7 has moved from D drive to C drive.Does that mean that Windows 7 is completely installed on my laptop but acer eRecovery is stopping me from using it?
I also went to "command prompt" and type in fixboot but it was "not recognised"
Do I really need to restore? If Windows 7 is successfully installed why can't I just boot up my computer and use it. Can I get pass this eRecovery thing. Everything is in full screen so my laptop is pretty much useless now. What do I need to do now?

Sorry for writing a tad too much.. =S but that's what i tried so far
    Please help
    Thank you

hdd= hard disk drive, load up the win7 disc, run setup when you get to the screen asking you where you want to install to , at the bottom of the screen will be a notification saying "drive options" click on that the click on format use all the drive available :)

oh ~ i've already did that when installing , pretty much exactly the same up to step 17
up to there, I didn't get the computer's location thing
and when window 7 is finalising, it fades out to black and go to acer erecovery thing, same as always

LOL.... it just worked... i've been repeat the whole process over and over and getting the same results. And yea I did format the C drive, that's the one yea?

everytime windows 7 is 'finalising' this windows/system32.cdm exe something something comes up and that's when it goes back to that wretched acer erecovery thing. This time for some reason I decided to click it off before it fades away then....it worked =O i got into windows 7
I don't understand how it worked ..but it worked
yay thanks a lot pebbly =D
