I just tested my Win 7 32bit dvd and it worked just fine. So i guess it's not the drive.
But i also tried to pirate win 7 64bit once and it didn't work either, mabey i burned it wrong? or could it be my BIOS?

I bought this Win 7 64bit in the US while i live in Nederlands so would i now have to pirate it to get 64bit since the CD is defective?

Agreed, I would call MS. Since this was purchased in US and is being used outside US, there might be a zone restriction on it that is causing the problem.

*UPDATE* Ok so i just tried my Windows 7 32bit CD and it works but when i try to restart my computer with the CD in it does not boot the CD it just starts my normal OS.

So mabey their is still hope! I check my BIOS and im positive it says:
First Boot Device: CDROM
Second Boot Device: HDD
Third Boot Device: Removable

You have CD-ROM set as first boot device, not the DVD drive.

Try using the one-time Boot menu key given on first bootup screen (usually F10 or F12) to boot the DVD.

Try the DVD in another machine to see if it will boot.

If this is genuine MS intallation DVD then it includes tech support so call the number with the disk. If not reburn the DVD with ImgBurn at 4x speed with Verify - it never fails.

Its a genuine MS CD, this is strange when i put my 32bit win7 in and my computer is on it reads it, 64bit i get the error message, when i try the boot up menu i go to CDROM and for both 32bit and 64bit it says no bootable device found.

This is weird.

Do you have the latest BIOS update?

Try to extract the ISO from DVD using ImgBurn and create a flash stick installer: USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

Determine where your .iso file is stored by browsing to there.

Now point the flash stick creating tool to that location.

I still have not managed to install windows 7 64bit but have come up with an idea.

Will it work if i take my HDD out of my computer and bring it to a friends house where we install windows 7 there with his computer?
